The latest version of the OpenNARS reasoning system comes with an example application which is a traffic intersection simulation.[1] The general-purpose intelligent system NARS was build similar to the Prolog language as an inference system which is using a logic language and rules to predict the outcome of a system.[2]
The concept goes beyond Narrow AI projects and is located within Artificial General Intelligence. The aim is to program a software which can handle many different tasks. Sometimes such a engine is called a cognitive architecture. In case of NARS the knowledge is stored in an extended form of grammar based probabilistic logic.
